These terms apply to every business or person ("Vendor," "you") that books a vendor space at a Dubsea Jamboree event from Dubsea LLC ("Dubsea," "we," "us," or "our"). Dubsea Jamboree is held annually; "Event" means the edition you book for. Booth fees are billed by Dubsea LLC; the billing name and card statement descriptor are shown on your invoice or payment page. By applying, paying, or setting up at the Event, you agree to these terms and to our Terms of Use, Billing and Payments Policy, and Privacy Policy.
The key points
- Dubsea approves every Vendor before you pay.
- Booth fees are paid in full to confirm your space and are non-refundable if you cancel, don't show up, or miss a deadline.
- If Dubsea cancels the Event and doesn't reschedule it, you get a full refund.
- You need your own licenses, permits, insurance, and payment system, and you're responsible for taxes on your sales.
1. Applying and approval
Vendors apply through the vendor application on dubsea.com. Dubsea may approve or decline any application at its discretion. If you pay before approval and we decline you, we refund your payment in full.
2. Booth fees and payment
- The booth fee is the price on the vendor page or your invoice, in U.S. dollars, plus any tax shown before payment.
- Payment in full confirms your space. Invoices and payment links are due on receipt, and a space isn't reserved until it's paid.
- Payments are processed by Stripe; Dubsea never sees or stores your full card number.
3. Your space
Your booth package describes the space and anything included, such as tables or power. Dubsea assigns booth locations and may move a booth for safety, layout, or venue reasons.
4. Refunds and cancellations
- You cancel, don't show up, or miss a deadline: no refund.
- Dubsea declines your application after payment: full refund.
- Event canceled by Dubsea and not rescheduled: full refund of your booth fee within 30 days of the announcement.
- Event postponed: your space moves to the new date, or you can request a full refund within 30 days of the announcement.
- Weather, schedule or lineup changes, lower attendance than expected, or the Event ending early for safety or weather: no refund.
- Removal for breaking these terms: no refund.
5. Licenses, permits, and taxes
You must hold every license, permit, and registration your sales require, including state and city business licenses and any food or health permit, and show copies when we ask. You're responsible for collecting and paying all sales and other taxes on your sales.
6. Insurance
You must carry commercial general liability insurance of at least $1,000,000 per occurrence, or more if the venue requires it, naming Dubsea LLC and the venue as additional insureds. Food Vendors must also carry product liability coverage. Send your certificate of insurance before the deadline in your confirmation.
7. Products and conduct
- Sell only the products Dubsea approved in your application.
- Never sell or give away weapons, illegal drugs, cannabis products, counterfeit goods, items that infringe anyone's rights, or adult products.
- Alcohol only with Dubsea's written approval and a valid Washington liquor license, with ID checked for every sale.
- Follow venue rules, fire and safety codes, setup and teardown times, and staff instructions. Staff your booth during Event hours, keep it clean, and don't share or sublet it.
- No amplified sound, open flames, or generators without Dubsea's written approval.
8. Your sales and customers
You take payment for your own sales with your own payment system. Dubsea never collects money for Vendors, and you handle your own receipts, refunds, and customer service.
9. Photography and promotion
Dubsea may photograph and film your booth, staff, and products at the Event and may use your business name and logo to promote the Event, in any media and without payment. You may promote your participation using the Event name as Dubsea's brand guidelines allow.
10. Liability and indemnification
- You're responsible for your booth, staff, products, and property. Dubsea isn't responsible for theft, loss, or damage.
- You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Dubsea and the venue from claims, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your products, booth, staff, or breach of these terms.
- TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, DUBSEA'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU IS LIMITED TO THE BOOTH FEE YOU PAID, AND DUBSEA ISN'T LIABLE FOR LOST PROFITS OR INDIRECT DAMAGES.
11. Removal
Dubsea may remove any Vendor who breaks these terms, venue rules, or the law, or who puts anyone at risk, without a refund.
12. General
You're an independent business, not Dubsea's partner, agent, or employee. These terms are governed by Washington law. Before filing any claim, email info@dubsea.com and allow 30 days to resolve it informally. Any lawsuit must be brought in the state or federal courts in King County, Washington.
